Goals

In recent years, both companies have advanced the integration process of the bank houses and integrated the employees of Dresdner Bank into the Commerzbank Group. This process should be presented to all employees with this day, the results in the form of front lectures and also individual discussions. The respective, now „new“ departments and employees should be able to meet the other departments in an open environment. At the same time, half a day of fun, experiencing and celebrating the results should be celebrated, which gives the participants thanks and appreciates the work. For the implementation of this event was less than a month time – from receipt of the request to the final implementation.

Execution

It was less than a month to implement this event. A meadow was quickly found – the outdoor center of Gauditours was ready to give this event the right setting. Nearly 15,000 square meters of meadows, in the middle of a game park, provided the framework for this final event. A spacious awning tent with the dimensions of 30x width and 50m length was placed on a new wooden floor. This tent included a set-up for two themes: in the morning, the topics were held, in the evening a joint evening event with a band took place.

The tent was flanked by six 5x5m pagoda tents each, intended for two purposes: firstly, as in the case of a kind of fair, they were the starting point of every department within the HR department of Commerzbank to inform the employees about what Now the „new area“ does and which employees supervise this area.
These tents were equipped with corresponding posters and information by the employees themselves and were used until the late afternoon for the information transfer. Thus the nearly 18 departments presented themselves on the spot During the activity-rich afternoon we converted these tents into individual catering-lounge zones and output stations for the dinner.

Keeping 550 people in action at the same time requires a high logistical experience, appropriate personnel and material. For more than 15 years, Gauditours has been involved in various activities: climbing in two climbing parks operated by Gauditours, archery, entertaining team stations, football, volleyball, massages, TaiChi, Game drives and carriage rides were available to the guests. And whoever wanted to do nothing was lying in one of the numerous sun loungers or hanging mats, and enjoyed this day.

The evening event posed a number of challenges for us: the whole tent had to be converted within two hours by a conference hall equipped with chairs into a location where the 550 people could experience a special evening event. So we installed a room divider from a third of the tent, the stylishly lit cocktail bar – just in front of the stage for the band. The rest of the tents were decorated with stylishly decorated furniture. The open tent area – equipped with transparent tarpaulins – offered the opportunity to join the evening at numerous standing tables.

The evening event then sounded a well-known Commerzbank „House“ band, before the DJ’s legs were dangling. On the LED screen the photos of the day event were running before a special light show took over the screen.

What we are proud of

We work for people. We are extremely proud when the people who TRUST in us and our work put this trust back – from your supervisor.

In this case, we had less than one month for the entire event preparation including all logistics. The enthusiasm, however, simply did not have any limits, as the board of directors – unexpectedly – rose to the climber who was intended for the group picture, and expressed our personal thanks in a very emotional approach. When tears of enthusiasm, of agitation and inner joy flow, then even a hard-hitting event manager has to turn away for a short time.

The kind of the event made very large rounds in the own house – as well it liked the participants.
